A Red, White and Blue Greeting

It has been a while since I last posted and I have been having trouble figuring out what to post so since Independence Day is coming up soon I decided to do a quick little something for the occasion. I am not feeling too creative with my words today just in my decorating. So here is a little red, white and blue vignette for you.

The items pictured above include a little blue velvet with silk frame, a German dresser box (ring box maybe), an Ice Water Ironstone pitcher from a hotel or train, ruby flash pieces and a Titanic teacup. All are antique except for the teacup.

Pictured below is an antique Scott's Emulsion tradecard. Aren't those girls sweet? Look at those blue eyes!
On the bottom right hand corner it says "The Twins".

Here's wishing you a safe and happy Independence Day. God bless you all.

  3. Hi, Gina. I know all about the lack of ideas but sometimes they come back and then go away again, so I guess we will just have to wait it out. In the meantime, your RW&B items are as beautiful as usual. You really don't need too many words to make a patriotic scene come alive..Happy Thursday..Judy

  8. Love those chubby cheek girls on the trade card! I just pulled out my July 4th postcards yesterday so I'll do a patriotic post early next week. Time certainly is getting away from me. Can't believe Independence Day is almost here.

    Enjoy the holiday, Gina.

  11. Hi Gina,
I like your ice water pitcher! I don't think you were aware but I had featured your pretty cake and tea set for your garden party a couple of weeks ago. I don't thnk you participated last week so you missed it. I thought your cake was so pretty. Anyway, just thought I would let you know. It's a pleasure to have you share again at my HOME. Have a wonderful weekend.
