Okay, so here is what I did buy!
A pair of beautiful porcelain bisque ladies!
So anyway, are you ready for some close ups?
They are hand painted with such beautiful detail work. This gal looks like some sort of a queen or princess with her crown...
she reminds me of the lady in this picture that I have hanging here in the dining room...
she is Queen Louise of Prussia, the most famous Beauty of the 18th Century.
And here is the other gal with a blue head band on...
Aren't they just gorgeous?
Here is a back view of their hair...
some side views...
and some bird views...
And now, where to put them right? Since my mantle is full...
they will just have to go up here for now...
and join some more birds!
Well that is it for now, thank you so much for stopping by and may you have a blessed 2015!
Many thanks go out to Bella over at Let's Talk Vintage for featuring my antique postcards from my Christmas in the Parlor post, to Kathy over at Home and Garden Thursday and to Nancy at Every Room in the House party for featuring my Christmas in the Parlor post. Thanks ladies!
